Coffee and Nutella Melting Moments
I love sweets, there's no hiding that. I especially love small sweets to have with a coffee or tea.
I have been making a lot of cakes lately. So I decided to make biscuits instead. I love melting moments. I have loved them for such a long time, but I wanted to try something a little different. I had Nutella left over from the Banana and Nutella Bread I made about a week ago, you can see the recipe here, and my taste buds were still craving it! I love using Nutella for icing cakes and biscuits, so that's what I did!
Coffee and Nutella Melting Moments it was. Sometimes it's fun to be the only one home to lick the beaters!
Makes about 25
150 grams butter
1 1/4 cups plain flour
1/3 cup cornflour
1/4 cup icing sugar
2 teaspoons coffee, dissolved in hot water
Preheat the oven to 160C.
Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
Then add the flours and coffee, turn the mixer on very low or use a spatula to stir.
Roll teaspoons full of dough mixture and place on lined baking trays. Lightly press a fork into them for the pattern. Bake for 15 minutes.
Sandwich with nutella.
